Did You Know...??

Did you know that there are over 120 different types of brain cancers. And doctors identify them by:
-the location in which the cancer/tumor is located in your head.
-how fast or slow the the tumor or cells grow.
-were it originated from. (If the cells grew in your brain/head, or if the cells were carried from an organ through the blood stream to your head/brain.)
-and lastly, how aggressive the cells are. (From "Benign" meaning "Least aggressive," to "Malignant" meaning "very aggressive.")
-they are also given "GRADES" on how severe they are or have become.

My Project..!!

Hi, my name is Kassie, and my capstone project is to help "Create Brain Cancer/tumor Awareness." For this project I plan to create informational pamphlets that I will pass out and leave in different places for people to grab and view. (I also plan to create a virtual copy on the internet/on this blog so that people from different parts of Arizona and the united states can view it and learn more about brain cancer and tumors. Along with the informational pamphlets, I would like to raise money for patients and families that can't afford to pay for there treatments and medications, and go to local hospitals at least once or twice a week to spend time and hang-out with kids who have this condition.
